Prayer Requests ...

for the The Family and Friends of Vanny LaRocque (Father of Principal, Janet 
LaRocque Zion, Bay City) who passed away on November 12 . a prayer of 
thanksgiving for successful surgery for Rev. William Allwardt (Zion, Bay 
City) who is home recuperating . for peace for Rev. Dr. Richard L. Schlecht 
(former president of the Michigan District) following two failed attempts at 
removing a blockage in his carotid artery. Pray that medication will be 
successful in breaking up the blockage or an alternative procedure can be 
found ... Rev. Armond Schoof (Emeritus) and his wife Arlette who are 
recuperating from injuries received in a serious automobile accident on 
November 20.  They were life-flighted to a hospital in Cleveland.  Arlette 
has been released and Armond is in serious but stable condition ... for the 
full recovery of Rev. Mark A Griffin, Sr. (Berea, Detroit) following surgery 
on November 20 ... prayers for continued health and strength for Jacob and 
Samuel Felten, premature infant sons of Dan and Julie Felten (St. Lorenz, 
Frankenmuth) ...

"Angel Squadron," a modern musical nativity, opens at the Upper Room Theatre 
at Zion, Holland.  Performances run Friday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m., 
Saturday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 2 at 
3:00 p.m.  This homage to 'Battle of Britain' films from the 1960s takes 
place in and around Bethlehem, from the angels' point of view.  The squadron 
carries out secret missions, briefed by the 'Supreme Commander' and the 
music includes, rap, reggae, folk, and funk.  Written by Peter White of the 
United Kingdom, is appropriate for the entire family. Tickets ($5.00) are 
available by calling 616.392.7151.

The Christian band Attaboy will be performing at Our Shepherd, Birmingham on 
Saturday, December 1.  They will be leading worship at 6:00 p.m. with a 
concert to follow.  There is no cost to attend, but a freewill offering will 
be taken.  Attaboy's diverse influences meld to bring you music that 
incorporates the energy of Relient K, employing a bold lyrical honesty that 
hearkens to Switchfoot but with a progressive energy all their own.

The Detroit Lutheran Singers present its annual Christmas Concerts on 
Sunday, December 2 (Historic Trinity, Detroit); Friday, December 7 (First 
Baptist Church, Southfield); and Saturday, December 8 (St. John, Farmington 
Hills).  All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $10 ($7 for seniors

Immanuel (Frankentrost), Saginaw hosts its 11th annual "Living Nativity - A

St. Lorenz, Frankenmuth will be presenting "What Sweeter Music," a choral

Christ Our Savior, Livonia invites you to attend its Annual Christmas

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis hosts its Taste of Sem for High School Youth 
January 19-21, 2008.  This event is designed to allow young men the
