Technology group. Tried to send this several days ago in response to Gary's email on Eagles rebid, and it came back. Let me try this avenue. Peace, Paul
Gary: I like Eagles re-bid. At $8,420 we are getting a good unit with a solid switcher. I do not see much 'padding' here. Unless Fowler or the local business can blow us out of the water with an exceptional bid, my vote is with Eagle. Panasonic is a very trustworthy name. I will not be back until Jan. 3 but will be checking my e-mail. I also want to support all the effort Gary has put into this. Patience is a virtue. Peace, Paul
I was able to get into the administrative interface on Frank's behalf and release the message, so everyone should have received it.
I'm a little disappointed and concerned about the comments below. To my knowledge, this committee was developed last May and given the task to gather information and make a recommendation to the congregation, specifically the Council. I'm not yet aware of anyone who is micro-managing our work. The council met this past Tuesday night and is requesting that the committee present it's recommendation for approval, since they know we're close to making a decision. It's not an unreasonable request, given the nature of the project. Unfortunately, I know that some are leaving town this weekend. I had really hoped that we could have made a decision last Sunday and presented the information to the Council Tuesday, but we're obviously limited by a lack of time and communication. Let's get the work done that the committee was asked to do -- the sooner, the better? Thank you!
I'm available to meet anytime in the short term, with the exception of Jan. 2--6.
God's peace in Christ,
Pastor Jeff

I have a rebid from Eagle and it is better. I sent it once but the group email sent it back because the file was too large. Send me your schedules so we can pick a vendor.
I've been informed that the council wants the proposals so that they can decide which to choose. If this is true my work has ended and I will not waste another moment of my time on this project or any other project for that matter. No body else stepped up to the plate for this job and I will not be micro managed.
Gary
