This is the church that Bill Braman referred to a few times when talking about a multimedia projection system. Their technology director is also their office secretary, Ron Kinsey, and he works full-time. They have clear window glass along the sides of their sanctuary, with pull-down shades that can be used, if needed. It was obvious that a lot of time went into balancing the lighting to optimize their projection capability (using a drop down screen.) Their "tech booth" along the back left wall area of the sanctuary has a sound board and lighting controls, in addition to switches for computer presentations, including DVD and VHS playback and recording. They had to install a locking gate to keep children from wandering in there and playing with the dials and settings. They use straight "power-point" for presentation purposes.

It will undoubtedly take a commitment of time and possibly additional resources to make the multimedia projection system work for our benefit and first and foremost, to God's glory. I look forward to moving forward and incorporating newer technology into our worship service very soon. If interested, we can schedule a visit to New Life sometime, or invite Ron to visit here and share ideas with us.
